Replace a defective Siemens PLC of a swimming hall Automation

Corrosion and other environmental factors required the replacement of a S7-313 PLC and its OP7 operating interface by a S7-314 with a touch panel KTP 400 Comfort done by our PLC technicians in the following steps.

• - Transmission of the old step 7 program to the new PLC
• - Programming of the visualization in TIA Portal
• - link of Step7 project to visualization with TIA Portal
• - Reconstruction of all PLC components and the new panel to the existing switchboard

Batching Plant for Polyurethane

The latest PLC project of vbk technology is a batching plant with 2 or 3 components for Polyurethane.
Therefor a new SIEMENS S7-1200 CPU is applied with different LCD Touch panels.

• The special features of the project are:
• - recording of the pump duty line, that requires no additional sensor for the volume measurement
• - choose able operation mode - either installation stops after achieved setting or endless discharge
• - program is configurable for 2 or 3 components, therewith less maintenance efforts achieved

Lounges - uniqunet control device supports NICOTRA Gebhardt FFU

After a few years of absence the Cleanroom Lounges took place in Karlsruhe this year again. Personal highlight for me was the operation of a of an uniqunet control device driving an EC-fan of a NICOTRA Gebhardt ( former Gebhardt Ventilatoren ) FFU.

NICOTRA Gebhardt has been an OEM costumer for our control devices for years.

Right in time for the pre-christmas-seasonKälteConcepthanded over a newHVAC-plantto Bäckerei Schmidt.

As for the costumer interface the process visualizationuniquvisis on duty and delivers all data costumer required in a perfect manner.

Efficient Drives in the HVAC

We have been delighted that Dr.-Ing. Mathias PAUL could follow an invitation to speak at the Techniktag of theSächsischen Kältefachschule about „Efficient Drives in the HVAC“ at dec 1st 2017. Besides of many facts on EC-Motors and EC-Drives a small time slot was granted to introduce our own products to the interested audience.

The most interesting part hereby was the universal applicability of control devices from vbk technology whether asHandheld (uniquom) or ascontrol centre (uniqunet) to control differentEC-fans from ebmpapst, Ziehl Abegg, Nicotra||Gebhardt on their differentRS485-Bus-Systems ebmBUS, Modbus, GBus …). Furthermore the own process visualisation platformuniquvis was presented in a current project for KälteConcept.
